All Global Gardens olive oils are Extra Virgin
First Cold Pressing Olive Oils from the most current harvest. We pride
ourselves in educating our customers at our Destination Store in downtown
Los Olivos, CA on all the different flavor nuances of olive oils as they
relate to their varietals and environmental surroundings. Each of our
descriptions here describe those nuances…but you have to taste them
to believe them!
Everyone asks us about cooking with olive oil—the answer is a resounding YES YOU CAN!! I do everything with olive oil. The smoke point is 160 degrees so feel free to use it for sautéing, stir fry dishes or even frying! It’s all about the kind of pan you use. I prefer Le Creuset or wrought iron when I’m frying. I also have a heavy cast iron wok. Stainless steel clad-bottom professional pans round out my sauté equipment along with some Caphalon which is the perfect oil-saver. Call or email me with questions!

Fruit Vinegars from Global Gardens begin with California fruits that are
picked fresh, then creatively blended into the perfect formula with either
California Champagne or Balsamic Vinegars. Our vinegars are distilled
by a professional vinegar maker up in the Napa Valley wine region who
uses wines from chardonnay grapes for the Champagne & Golden Balsamic
Vinegars, Rhone varietals for the dark Balsamic. We have never tasted
more premium vinegars anywhere; thank you Karen!
Our tropical fruit vinegars are made from the highest quality, locally sourced fruit we can find. We formulate carefully as we make every single batch by hand in our own commercial kitchen. Each batch is taste-tested and sometimes the recipe is revised a little bit to make it taste just right, depending on fruit sweetness. Labels are clearly marked with sugar content. The sweetest of our fruit vinegars contains only 4 grams of sugar and no fat, never any colorings and always, always the fruit itself!
Use these vinegars in place of lemon in recipes, as stand-alone salad dressings without oils, in fruit salads and on your favorite steamed veggies. Replace 1/3 of your water when making rice for an unusual flavor boost. Try reducing our vinegars (see recipe section) for an awesome topping for brie cheese, chevre cheese, meat, seafood, ice cream and other desserts. Sir fry your favorite veggie, meat or seafood dish in your wok, replacing our vinegars as your cooking “oil”. The natural sugars in the vinegar will thicken into a tangy sauce that is the perfect fat-free and tasty solution, bringing new flavors to your tired dishes!

store. The answer is easy: Open, pour over the top and eat! Truly, we
believe in making quick, healthy gourmet meals in less than 20 minutes…and
